{"id":6,"date":"2018-08-02T12:30:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-02T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2018.milano.wordcamp.org\/?p=6"},"modified":"2018-10-31T11:02:41","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T10:02:41","slug":"call-for-volunteers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milano.wordcamp.org\/2018\/call-for-volunteers\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Volunteers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"note\" lang=\"en\"><em>Italian text is followed by <a href=\"#en\">English<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Siamo alla ricerca di persone entusiaste, organizzate, piene di energia e voglia di partecipare, oltre che innamorate di WordPress.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"perch-fare-il-volontario-\">Perch\u00e9 fare il volontario?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Perch\u00e9 i volontari sono fondamentali per la buona riuscita di un WordCamp.<\/strong> \u00c8 grazie a loro che l\u2019intera organizzazione dell\u2019evento pu\u00f2 funzionare, sono loro a garantire la partecipazione e il divertimento di tutti.<\/p>\n<p>Ti chiediamo di leggere le informazioni seguenti e di farci sapere come ti piacerebbe dare una mano, <strong>compilando il form che si trova nei link in fondo a questa pagina.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"come-volontario-avrai-queste-ed-altre-possibilit-\">Come volontario avrai queste ed altre possibilit\u00e0:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>essere <strong>parte essenziale del team<\/strong> durante il giorno dell\u2019evento;<\/li>\n<li>conoscere e stringere <strong>relazioni<\/strong> con tante persone come te, che vogliono contribuire alla realizzazione di questo evento;<\/li>\n<li>incontrare e fare <strong>networking<\/strong> con partecipanti e speaker, provenienti dall\u2019Italia e dall\u2019estero.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"in-che-cosa-avete-bisogno-di-aiuto-\">In che cosa avete bisogno di aiuto?<\/h2>\n<p>Abbiamo bisogno di volontari sul campo e con le mani in pasta il giorno dell\u2019evento. <strong>Aspettati di arrivare a sera esausto ed euforico!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I ruoli saranno definiti meglio in prossimit\u00e0 dell\u2019evento, ma per darti un\u2019idea queste sono alcune delle attivit\u00e0 che potremmo chiederti di fare:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Occuparti della registrazione e accoglienza dei partecipanti;<\/li>\n<li>Preparare i sacchetti con gli swag;<\/li>\n<li>Distribuire swag e t-shirt;<\/li>\n<li>Aiutare durante il pranzo e le pause caff\u00e8;<\/li>\n<li>Aiutare gli speaker;<\/li>\n<li>Occuparti della sala, o anche solo di portare in giro il microfono, durante i talk;<\/li>\n<li>Dare informazioni, indirizzare e orientare speaker e visitatori nella venue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"mi-pagate-o-fate-un-rimborso-spese-\">Mi pagate o fate un rimborso spese?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>No.<\/strong> I WordCamp sono eventi fatti da volontari, quindi come regola, in tutto il mondo, non sono previste coperture di spese.<\/p>\n<p>Sar\u00e0 tua cura coprire i costi di viaggio e permanenza a Milano. Se sarai accettato come volontario avrai accesso gratuito per entrambi i giorni (WordCamp e Contributor day), pranzi inclusi.<\/p>\n<p>Fare volontariato al WordCamp Milano \u00e8 un modo unico per contribuire e sostenere l\u2019evento e la comunit\u00e0 di WordPress.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"che-cosa-devo-aspettarmi-\">Che cosa devo aspettarmi?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Di divertirti, anzitutto!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Una volta che sarai accettato come volontario al WordCamp Milano 2018, sarai aggregato al team dei volontari in funzione di ci\u00f2 che sai fare e <strong>ti saranno assegnati vari compiti da portare avanti prima e durante l\u2019evento.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>nb: ci piacerebbe accettare tutti, ma non possiamo! Quindi se non avrai una conferma, non averne a male: ci saranno tantissime altre occasioni per contribuire a WordPress!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prima dell\u2019evento, l\u2019intero team si incontrer\u00e0 per parlare della gestione del WordCamp, potrai visitare la sede e dare una mano alla prima organizzazione.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ci incontreremo il 16 Novembre<\/strong>, al Contributor Day. Conoscerai l\u2019intero team, parleremo dei compiti assegnati a ciascuno, vedremo insieme la sede e potrai dare una mano alla prima organizzazione.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il giorno del WordCamp, il 17 Novembre lavoreremo tutti assieme come parte di una squadra che ci auguriamo possa funzionare come un orologio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Hey, dopo l\u2019evento c\u2019\u00e8 <strong>l\u2019After Party<\/strong>, non vorrai mica andare via subito?<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ti-inteessa-aiutarci-\">Ti interessa aiutarci?<\/h2>\n<p>Compila il modulo in fondo alla pagina. <strong>Non vediamo l\u2019ora di averti nella squadra!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Vuoi entrare subito nello spirito giusto? Sar\u00e0 anche il nostro principale canale di comunicazione e coordinamento durante il WordCamp.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tutti i volontari avranno diritto all\u2019ingresso gratuito al WordCamp, quindi se ti candidi non procedere con l\u2019acquisto del biglietto!<br \/>\nSe non sarai scelto tra i volontari, ma decidessi comunque di venire (ovvio che vieni!) non preoccuparti di restare senza biglietto, ne metteremo in vendita altri!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tutte le informazioni vengono raccolte al solo scopo di mantenere una comunicazione pi\u00f9 efficace tra gli organizzatori del team WordCamp Milano e i volontari.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"more-link cta\" href=\"#before-form-volunteer\">Candidati come volontario<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div lang=\"en\">\n<h2 id=\"en\" class=\"divider\">English<\/h2>\n<p>We are looking for enthusiastic, well organized and energetic people who love WordPress.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers are the backbone of any successful WordCamp. They will help make the event happen in the best possible way while ensuring fun for everyone. Moreover, it is a great way to get involved in the WordPress community!<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, read the information below, and let us know how you can help out <strong>filling in the form<\/strong> (you can find it following the links at the bottom of this page).<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"as-a-voluteeer-you-will-\">As a volunteer you will:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>be an <strong>essential part of the team<\/strong> during the event;<\/li>\n<li><strong>meet a lot of people like you<\/strong>, who would like to contribute to this great event;<\/li>\n<li><strong>have the chance to talk with attendees and speakers<\/strong> coming from all over Italy and abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"how-can-i-help-you-\">How can I help you?<\/h2>\n<p>We need volunteers during the event days. <strong>Expect to be exhausted and elated at the same time at the end of the WordCamp!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Volunteers tasks will be defined before the opening of the event.<br \/>\n<strong>These are some of the activities<\/strong> we might ask you to run:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration and reception;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare of swag bags;<\/li>\n<li>Swag and t-shirts distribution;<\/li>\n<li>Helping during lunch and coffee breaks;<\/li>\n<li>Helping speakers;<\/li>\n<li>Run around with the microphone during sessions;<\/li>\n<li>Help with moving people and giving information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"will-you-pay-me-or-will-i-get-a-refund-\">Will you pay me or will I get a refund?<\/h2>\n<p>As a rule, for all WordCamps in the world, expenses are not covered by the organization. If you want to get involved, you have to cover the costs of travel and stay in Milano.<\/p>\n<p>If you are accepted as a volunteer you will have free access to both events ( WordCamp and Contributor Day ), included lunch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteering at WordCamp Milano is a unique way to help and support the event and the WordPress community.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"what-should-i-expect-\">What should I expect?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>To have fun, first of all!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you have been accepted as a volunteer at WordCamp Milano 2018, you\u2019ll join the team of volunteers according to what you do and <strong>will be given various tasks\u00a0to be carried out before and during the event.<\/strong><br \/>\nWe let you know as soon as possible if you will be in our team.<\/p>\n<p><em>We\u2019d love to accept you all, but we can\u2019t! So if we say no to you, don\u2019t be sad: there will be a lot of chances to contribute to WordPress in many other ways!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Before the event, on <strong>Novemver 16th<\/strong>, the entire team meets to talk about WordCamp management so you can visit the headquarters of the WordCamp and help out the organization before. We will discuss the tasks assigned to everyone and explore the venue, preparing for the big event.<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>November 17th<\/strong>, WordCamp Milano 2018 will take place.
