Che tipo di talk accettate?<\/h2>\n

Qualsiasi! Davvero, siamo aperti a tutte le proposte, dai talk pi\u00f9 tecnici a quelli motivazionali.
\nL’unico requisito di quest’anno \u00e8 il tema, “Consigli pratici”.<\/p>\n

Quanto devono essere lunghi i talk?<\/h2>\n

Tendenzialmente ci saranno due tipologie di talk:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Lightning talks: (massimo 10 minuti con Q&A di gruppo)<\/li>\n
  • Long form talks: (massimo 40 minuti, incluso Q&A)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Ma se hai delle proposte saremo lieti di ascoltarle!<\/p>\n

    Ci sar\u00e0 supporto per gli speaker accettati?<\/h2>\n

    S\u00ec: se hai bisogno di una mano con le slide, oppure per preparare il talk, possiamo affiancarti un mentore che potr\u00e0 seguirti.<\/p>\n

    Non ho mai parlato in pubblico: \u00e8 un problema?<\/h2>\n

    Assolutamente no! WordCamp Milano pu\u00f2 essere un’ottimo trampolino di lancio per la tua carriera di public speaker \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

    I talk devono necessariamente riguardare WordPress?<\/h2>\n

    Tendenzialmente s\u00ec, ma non \u00e8 un requisito obbligatorio.
    \nGestione dei progetti, remote working, processi di design: questi sono solo alcuni esempi di argomenti che gravitano attorno all’universo WordPress.<\/p>\n

    Avr\u00f2 un compenso o un rimborso come speaker?<\/h2>\n

    Non \u00e8 previsto nessun rimborso per gli speaker di WordCamp Milano, dato che i WordCamp sono su base volontaria.
    \nTutti i relatori per\u00f2 avranno diritto all\u2019ingresso gratuito al WordCamp, quindi se ti candidi non procedere per ora con l\u2019acquisto del biglietto!<\/p>\n

    Se mi candido, verr\u00f2 sicuramente scelto come speaker?<\/h2>\n

    Quest\u2019anno abbiamo previsto solo venti talk e, di conseguenza, venti speaker. L\u2019anno scorso ci sono arrivate pi\u00f9 di 70 candidature e, ovviamente, non abbiamo potuto scegliere tutti. Quindi se la tua candidatura verr\u00e0 respinta non ti demoralizzare!<\/p>\n

    Nel caso in cui la tua candidatura venga respinta e tu decida comunque di venire (ovvio! ) non preoccuparti di restare senza biglietto: ne conserveremo uno per te, da acquistare al momento opportuno!<\/p>\n

    Quanti talk posso proporre?<\/h2>\n

    Se vuoi candidarti con pi\u00f9 talk, compila e invia tanti form quanti sono i talk che vuoi proporre!
    \nOvviamente, inviando pi\u00f9 di una proposta, le possibilit\u00e0 di essere scelti aumentano, quindi non aver paura e sottoponici tutte le tue idee \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

    Our Call for Speakers is closing in 10 days! Now is your moment to apply to speak. To help you, we’ve listed some of the most frequently asked questions.<\/p>\n

    What kind of talks do you accept?<\/h2>\n

    Any kind of talk is accepted! Really, we are open to all kinds of applications, from technical talks to motivational ones.
    \nThe only requirement for this year is the theme, “Practical tips”.<\/p>\n

    How long do sessions have to be?<\/h2>\n

    There will two formats:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Lightning talks: (maximum of 10 mins with a group Q&A)<\/li>\n
    • Long form talks: (maximum of 40 mins inclusive of Q&A)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Will there be support for accepted speakers?<\/h2>\n

      Yes: all accepted speakers will be asked if they would like to participate in the speakers mentoring program. The mentor will support you up to the event reviewing slides and preparing the talk.<\/p>\n

      It’s my first experience of public speaking. Is that a problem?<\/h2>\n

      Absolutely not! WordCamp Milano could be a fantastic stage to start your public speaking career \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

      Is there some kind of reimbursement?<\/h2>\n

      There is no reimbursement for WordCamp Milano’s speakers.<\/p>\n

      We will provide a free ticket for all accepted speaker, so don’t purchase your ticket yet!<\/p>\n

      If I apply, will I be accepted for sure?<\/h2>\n

      This year we’ve planned to have only around twenty talks. Last year we had more than 70 applications, so we couldn’t accept everyone. So if your application is not accepted, don’t be sad! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

      Obviously, we will keep aside a ticket for you if you are not accepted, so that you’ll be able to purchase one, and come to WordCamp Milano anyway!<\/p>\n

      How many times could I apply?<\/h2>\n

      As many as you want. Just submit multiple times the call for speakers form!<\/p>\n

      This will significantly increase your chances of being accepted and give us a wider variety of talks to select from.<\/p>\n
